Terms and Conditions

Access and Arrival

  • As the client, you are responsible for providing Deep Shiny Cleanings access to your house or workplace during regular business hours and any additional mutually agreed-upon times.
  • Please note that our arrival time is within a one-hour window of the scheduled cleaning time. For instance, if your scheduled cleaning is at 9:00 AM, our team may arrive between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. This consideration is necessary because our cleaners often travel together from one client to another, and traffic delays — which are beyond our control — could occur. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.


  • Deep Shiny Cleanings offers a range of services, including vacuuming carpets, dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning wood/tile floors, and maintaining kitchen appliances, bathtubs, shower stalls, toilets, sinks, and sink fixtures. We also remove trash from indoor containers and take it to outdoor dumpsters. Please note that additional services are available at extra cost.
  • Should you request any additional services or tasks beyond the initial walk-through estimate, we reserve the right to charge extra fees at a rate of $40 per man-hour. All payments for the above services are due at the time of service and must be paid at a non-discounted rate.
  • Please be aware that cleaning services scheduled on holidays incur an additional charge. If your cleaning date falls on a holiday, Deep Shiny Cleanings will reschedule the service to a convenient time before or within the same week as the holiday.

Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

  • Deep Shiny Cleaning is committed to providing environmentally friendly cleaning solutions. We bring nearly all tools and equipment necessary for cleaning your home or workplace, excluding paper towels and water, which must be provided at the site. If you prefer us to use specific cleaning supplies, such as specialized cleaning solutions or sponge mops, we kindly ask that you leave these items out for our use. Please also mention this request in your special account instructions.

Cancellation Policy

  • For a seamless experience, we kindly request that you cancel your appointment at least 12 hours before the scheduled home cleaning time.
  • If a cancellation or rescheduling occurs less than 12 hours before the agreed cleaning time, a fee equivalent to 50% of the original cleaning cost will be charged.
  • Please note that the full original cleaning cost will apply if our cleaners cannot access the premises at the scheduled time due to client absence or a lock-out.
  • Furthermore, if you cancel your cleaning services less than 24 hours prior and do not reschedule within the same week, a cancellation fee of $25 will be applied.

Satisfaction Guarantee

At Deep Shiny Cleaning, we are committed to your satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with the cleaning job and your home matches the description provided (size, condition, etc.), we promise to redress the problem areas. We offer a re-cleaning service within two days of the original cleaning. For your convenience, please contact us by emailing or calling us at 516-418-7984. We guarantee addressing your concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Safety Policy

We prioritize the safety of our employees. Deep Shiny Cleaning reserves the right to withdraw our cleaning staff from your premises if it becomes unsafe. In such cases, our standard cancellation policy will apply. Additionally, we may cancel the service due to extreme weather conditions to safeguard our employees and clients.

Heavy Furniture and Items

Please note that our cleaning staff is not permitted to move or lift heavy objects due to safety concerns. If you require cleaning behind large appliances or furniture, kindly move them before our team arrives.


We are happy to accommodate pets during our cleaning service. However, if your pet becomes agitated or poses a safety risk, Deep Shiny Cleaning reserves the right to remove our employees from your home. You will be charged a pro-rated fee based on completed work in such cases. Our cancellation policy will apply if our team must leave due to aggressive pets.


Please ensure that heirlooms and collectibles are safely secured before our arrival. Kindly include care instructions in your account notes for properly handling delicate items.

No Warranty

Please note that Deep Shiny Cleaning provides this website and its content “as is,” without any explicit or implicit warranty or representation. We disclaim all implied warranties, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Rest assured, we prioritize our customers’ security and service quality by being fully insured, bonded, and certified.


Our cleaning professionals will conduct themselves professionally while in your home. In case of accidental damage, please notify our office within 48 hours. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee reimbursement for damages reported more than 48 hours after the cleaning appointment.

We request that you remain available for contact, allowing Deep Shiny Cleaning or its representatives to evaluate and repair any damages. We reserve the right to employ suitable professionals to mend injuries and will handle payment arrangements directly with our contractors to resolve any damage repairs.

Caulking and Grout

Please note that Deep Shiny Cleaning is not responsible for restoring severely worn, stained, or mildewed caulking and grout.


Deep Shiny Cleaning preserves the right to modify or retract discounts on future services at any time. Rest assured, we will always communicate any such changes to our clients promptly.


We accept all major credit cards when scheduling an appointment. Please note a $3 transaction fee will be applied to your services.

For new clients, payment to Deep Shiny Cleaning is required before the initial cleaning visit is completed or as mutually agreed upon. If the booking is done over the phone or via email, an invoice will be issued which should be settled promptly. Unpaid bookings may result in cancellation.
